Jacques was realy into Leonardo’s latest bloc buster hit Inception and Alexandre was not. It was my turn to see it, so I went last night. It was definitly impressive with it’s megga big budget special effects, cascades and pyrotechnics, and the idea of dream picking and planting that was at the basis of it, was very interesting to say the least, but something, for me was missing.
I like to be happy, I like things that move and touch my heart, like a grandmothers hug and her soup. Inception didn’t do that for me. It was a bit to existentielle for my taste. You might laugh, but I love flicks that make me feal good, like Amélie Poulin. That did IT for me!
This morning I landed on a documentary that was on Passonate Eye, called Children full of life. This movie had, without a 200 million$ budget what Inception didn’t. It was inspiring, it showed the strength of the heart, instead of the strength of the power at be. It showed the intrinsic beauty of life and this feels real good.
I invite you to check-it out. I straight-up had tears of joy flowing after the third episode, so enjoy! If not let us know:)
